This listing is for one handmade WWII German Reichsbank style coin transport chest/crate, Three - 2 Reichsmark bags, and Three 2 Riechsmark Coins of Varying Quality from APPROXIMATELY VG8-XF40. THE COINS PICTURED ARE NOT NECCASARILY THE EXACT ONES YOU WILL GET.
The bags that you will get will come labeled as 2RM unless otherwise requested to be 1RM or 5RM bags. The crate will come labeled as 2RM unless otherwise requested as 1RM or 5RM. The labeling changes can be requested with no extra cost. These crates are all handmade and made to order, therefore there may be very minor differences between each and every crate, including stain saturation/color, exact placement of stencils, etc. These crates are inspired by wartime German administrative and transport crates used for the storage and transportation of payroll funds, coinage, documents, and other financial materials during the WWII era.
The design takes influence from authentic German military and Reichsbank transport crate construction styles of the 1930s-1940s. Each chest comes with the stencil work/logos that are historically accurate. I can also do variations, alternate stencil styles, serial numbers, custom markings, different denominations, or personalized stencil work upon request.
All hardware used on these crates is real cast iron and steel just like the originals, including the working iron lock shown in the photos. Each crate is individually hand stained and assembled by hand to give it a more authentic wartime appearance and feel. These are built to be substantial display/storage pieces rather than lightweight decorative props. The versions with coins are intended to help newer collectors get started with authentic WWII-era German silver coin collecting.
1 RM crate includes one real 1 Reichsmark coin. 2 RM crate includes one real 2 Reichsmark coin.5 RM crate includes one real 5 Reichsmark coin. (Crate measurements WITHOUT accounting for hardware: 7.25"x7"x12). (Crate measurements ACCOUNTING for hardware: 8.75"x7.5"x14.75).
