Authentic WWII German Wehrmacht leather Y-strap harness. Maker-stamped Fröhlich & Kreß - Pirmasens - 1941 with visible RBNr code. Constructed of thick natural brown leather with blackened steel D-rings, riveted joints, and reinforced stitching.
This early-war configuration was issued to German infantry to suspend the combat belt and field gear such as ammunition pouches, canteens, and breadbags. Condition Good vintage condition for its age.
Leather remains supple with light surface wear and patina. Blackened hardware shows mild oxidation consistent with field use.
Maker's stamp fully visible on the interior (see close-ups). The circular stamp and "(41)" date confirm genuine 1941 wartime production, not a post-war reissue. Highly sought by WWII collectors for its early-pattern construction and identifiable maker mark. Additional Details Original WWII issue - not a reproduction.
Perfect for display, reenactment, or completing a period-correct German infantry setup. Belt and pouches not included.
