The condition is "used with care" but the garments are totally intact with no tears and almost all of their buttons (I discovered one non-critical button missing on the white-side of the pants). The camouflage pattern is the autumn "blurred edge". The colors are still rich and vibrant. The reversible white side features some light dirty staining from field use (nothing too heavy), though there appears to be some discoloration around the buttons, I have included a closeup of the cuff of the parka to give an accurate representation of the level of weathering.

This set was made by a gentleman in the Maryland area named Bob Hoy some years back. The lining of the garments feels to be some sort of blanket-style lining for an accurate feel, not the silly synthetic poly-fil that I've seen in more modern reproductions from overseas. This garment is American made by a true craftsman (with the exception of the pebbled buttons which I believe are authentic). The maker even took the care to add some BW stamps where appropriate, those Germans stamped or marked EVERYTHING!

Sizing for the jacket is a generous large, hard to say for sure when it comes to custom garments. I think it would be a little snug in the sleeves with all of that bulk from various uniforms. Sizing for the insulated "over-pants" I would consider a "short large". Stand 6'-0 and weigh 207 lbs.

And the trousers fit generously over my jeans (I have a 32" inseam and a 36" waist). When I put the pants on, they ride a little high with the suspenders, their actual, measured inseam is 28. I did not consider this a problem because I wore insulated, tall, felt boots so the outfit looked fine visually, but the few times I participated in winter events I recall cheating by wearing sweatpants underneath. Measurement from the crotch-center to the top of the button-fly/waist measures 16. Measurement from the crotch, up the butt-crack, to the top-back of the waist measures 24.5.

You can either try them without the suspenders or source a longer pair of suspenders, this may enable you to wear them a little lower at the ankle. There are some added U. Military style "convenience buttons" so one may use the post-war suspenders with confidence. The worst of the winter weather is yet to come so now is the time to gear up for any tactical offensives.
