Wwii German Boot Knife & Scabbard

A nice German WWII boot knife that is in very good condition. The chestnut colored wooden handle is with 9 diagonal grooves on each side and is without cracks or damage. They are held in place on the tang by two small pins on the upper and lower ends. The blade is unsharpened and without nicks, rust or damage. It is with a dulled bright finish and with the original factory tip.

The blade measures 6 inches with the entire length of the knife being 10 inches. The S shaped cross guard has a forward bend at the top and a hook at the bottom. The scabbard is of sheet steel and finished with a black painted finish that remains approximately 65% intact. The body of the scabbard is without dents or damage.

The leather belt loop and handle securing strap are undamaged and intact with the snap closure remaining fully functional. There are no makes on the knife or scabbard.
