WW II WW2 German Helmet M35 size 66
Im not a helmet expert... But I know this helmet was brought back as a war trophy/souvenir by my grandfather.
He kept this helmet in a glass case for years in his bedroom and it eventually wound up in garage. He told me years ago he picked it up in Bavaria and thats all I know. The helmet appears to have been repainted a gray/green color years ago and there is no decals at all. Ive seen similar helmets with numbers stamped in the rear and behind the right ear of the helmets but the paint covers those stamping. The chin strap seems to be a reproduction compared to others ive seen.The helmet itself is solid and heavy. Ive owned it for several years now but feel it's best in the hands of a collector. This is a very nice helmet. One of the best I've personally seen.
