WW2 German panzer uniform elite camo
WW2 German elite camouflage panzer / assault gun wrap around. Material from China I believe. SIZE IS A 36 / 38. THE MATERIAL IS A COTTON SATEEN.
100% CORRECT IN PATTERN AND 5 COLORS. For 44 dot / pea. Collar to waist; 22 inches. Armpit to armpit, when buttoned ; 19inch across.
Waist edge side to side, when buttoned ; 18 1/2 ish. Sleeve cuff edge; 6 inches across.Uniform uses 5 large & 2 medium metal snaps, NOT buttons. This uniform has a large pocket on the out side. Some of the non wool assault jackets had. These to put maps in, ect. Pocket size (with out flap) ; 7 1/4 across X 9 inch tall & flat sewn.
Flap sewn roughly 1 inch above it. Shoulders &main body sides are double stitched, rest is single stitch. The material was prewashed before cutting the material, then once again after the uniform was completed. Dull type officer shoulder boards are sewn on , on All sides = flat to the jacket. Red wool piping for assault gun unit.
If it' fits a bit tight, YOU can move the snaps on the right side (photo #9) over a bit and resew on. NOT made to close all the way to the neck = no snaps or closure hooks.
No one ever wore it that way an how. To be worn with dress shirt / tee shirt / no shirt under this. Never worn by me, except for test fitting, while I was making it.
Great display item, or for reenacting. I may make another in a poly spot camo print....
