New generation of reproduction WWII German tunics, made using "Texled" patterns. These tunics are not available from any other vendor! The patterns and grading were made using both original tunics and wartime German specifications and sizing tables. The fit and finish is superior to the other imported tunics- no sky high belt hook holes, no suit coat shoulders, no pockets placed in helter-skelter fashion.
The fabrics are copied from original swatches- no more olive green wool, pink lining, or "mystery cloth". The shell is 80/20 wool and the liing is 100% cotton. The belt hook holes are the correct size so hooks will actually fit through them. The "M40" (model numbers are collector inventions, not WWII German terms) service tunic was manufactured from 1940-41 and issued until the end of the War.They feature pleated pockets, partial lining, internal suspender provisions, split cuffs, first aid dressing pocket, and hook and eye at the collar. These M40's are the greener shade of field gray, usually considered "early War" by enthusiasts. I had generic, mouse gray, late-war litzen sewed onto the collar, an M36 BeVo Breast Eagle sewed on the right breast, Infantry mid-war shoulderboards on the shoulders, an Iron Cross Second Class ribbon sewed on the second button from the top, and Infantry assault badge in Silver on the top left pleated pocket, and a Close Combat Clasp in Bronze above the top left pleated pocket.
There is a mid-war Obergfreiter chevron. Other: I have barely used this tunic since I bought it in 2016. It is as good as new. Sizing: This particular tunic is a S Regular (34R-36R). I have included a sizing chart from ATF to assist you if this tunic will fit you.Torso Length = base of collar to the level of the center belt hook hole (the total length of the back is about 25cm more). Sleeve Length = shoulder seam (where the sleeve attaches) to the cuff. If you have any questions just message me.
