WW2 German Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Sword Blade SMF Original
Offered for sale is a WW2 first pattern Luftwaffe sword blade. I'm unsure if this is a repro or original. The SMF logo is acid etched and lacks "SOLINGEN" underneath. The logo looks a bit crude. There are no nicks to the edges but the very tip is slightly blunted. There is one tiny spot of surface rust on the blade but the rest is clean. The blade finish looks good.
The pommel threads look good also. Total length is 34 9/16" and the blade length is 28.5".
