

WW2 German Leather Officer's Greatcoat -Mil-Tec by Sturm. Bought for a WW2 documentary film, worn once.
Its a size Euro size 56 reissue made from old German surplus leather great condition. Greatcoats came into widespread use during the 1930s, mostly in continental Europe. Variants still exist and they all share a common ostentatious theme.Some greatcoats were leather, others textile. Memory has images of German Nazi and Soviet Russian officials looking imposing wearing some of the most fantastic and extravagant greatcoats ever made. Unquestionably, projecting a message of power was facilitated by these over-the-top overcoats.
Made from 100% black leather with black cotton lining, this reproduction WW2 German Officers features 6x double-breasted style grey pebble buttons, French cuffs, two outer pockets, inner pocket, back cross piece with buttons. Very well made, heavy leather coat.
