WW2 German Helmet Size 68 Shell with size 60 Liner Camouflaged
This size 68 helmet shell started out black. It was brush painted with an olive/tan base coat on the exterior and in the inside skirt. It was then sprayed with green and brown paint to camouflage the exterior mimicking the "Normandy" camouflage paint scheme. The inside of the helmet retains its black finish. Some has flaked off as seen in the photos.
The liner is a size 60 and shows a little use and staining. Chinstrap is complete and functional.Please see all photos and let me know if you have any questions.
