Ww1 german uniform and field gear
Up for sale is a nice ww1 german partial uniform set. The tunic is a size large and is a mod 1915 transisional. The gas mask is reproduction and has been aged to give it a proper look and has original lens coverage inside the mask that give it the yellow look... The canteen is original as is the cover. I have added a new hand made leather hardware for it as the original rotted away.. The buckle is original as is the cork stopper. And canteen is clean inside.. Clean enough to safely hold water and drink from it. The bread bag is a reproduction.
The helmet is an original helmet size 66. Made by Hermann weissenburger & stuttgart-constatt.
The helmet has been repainted to its original camo pattern and had 3 1000% original artillery shrapnel strikes in the left side of helmet.. The linner is a very nice reproduction as is the chinstrap that is fastened to the helmet with original hardware... Overall a nice set up for display or the reeanactor... I'm to old and fat to do it anymore... Any other questions feel free to ask.
