A rare, signed John Shaw portrait of the third leading fighter ace of all time, Gunther Rall. This portrait print was published in 2001 as a companion print to the John Shaw'Warrior and the Wolfpack' print. It should be noted that these companion prints were typically NOT signed by Rall.
At Virginia Bader's art booth at the Oshkosh airshow in 2002. It has also been signed by the artist, John Shaw. These were open edition companion prints to the main print and were not a numbered edition. I have one signed copy of this print and when it is gone, it is gone. Gunther Rall passed away in 2009.The print measures 11 x 15, making it a very nice size to display and inexpensive to frame compared to full size art prints of this genre.
