Reproduction WWII German Enigma machine input board
For sale is an experimental, 1:1 scale reproduction of the Enigma machine input board. While an original Enigma input board was only a few millimeters thick, this experimental input board was machined out of a bar of solid aluminum. As per Enigma machine blueprints the input board contains 26 x 6.2 mm thru-and-thru holes for the insertion of rods for your non-functional keys, and 5 x 4.2 mm thru-and-thru countersunk holes for metric screws. As you can see in the pictures the bottom of this solid aluminum input board is flat. And since it was machined out of solid aluminum it is a heavy piece at 2 pounds, 3 ounces.
