This is your Gem sale of the day/week/month! Up for sale is one of the Three finest reproduction tunics I have ever had pass through my hands (a 3-way tie for 1st place with its sister prototype LB M44, and my old, early Jahnke M40 SS). I obtained this piece about 10 years ago from a fellow who was a close personal friend of Lost Battalion's founder.

From him, I obtained what were''prototype'' run tunics (before he got rolling with full, mass-production) from his early days. By all measurements, unique features, and appearances, it was likely a direct copy from a de-constructed original.

The wool is his classic ideal weave and weight (without the blue, or pink tints that his later stuff came to have). And the cut is indicative of what became his later work. Includes matching early production LB internal suspenders, 4 original aluminum belt hooks, as well as EVERY button also being original.

Grossdeutschland Cuff title is the same cloth sutterlein reproduction that LB used to have made locally, and is properly sewn through the arm seam. Litzen are generic and quite possibly also original; Machine sewn at time of assembly same as everything else. Eagle is bevo, and a lovely repro in its own.

There is no damage or staining on any part of the tunic. The only deviation from its as-produced form is its former owner having''soldier-reinforced'' the buttons with an industrial grade thread.

He had a phobia of losing buttons (same as I myself have had over my own tunics in my time). This could not be a more perfect feldbluse for the serious reenactor. Again, this is totally properly cut per wartime style. Ostensibly, it is a 42-44, with the typical shorter skirt and sleeves we know Lost Battalions for. The exact measurements are as follows: Back of neck to bottom of skirt: 26'' (66cm) Bottom of rear collar to front skirt edge: 28-29 (72-74cm) Shoulder across back seam to seam: 19'' (49cm) Sleeve shoulder to cuff: 24.5'' (61cm) Chest (armpit to armpit across front): 24''(60cm) Waist across front (at belt hook line) 22'' (56cm) Collar: 18'' (47cm).

As you can see, this bears a very proper taper to the skirt, and a very proper taper to the waist. If you are built like the''all too typical'' American reenactor, this will not fit your your junk-food laden gut (to be glib). This tunic was built for real landser. You can just simply not get such a tunic from them anymore (or without having it custom made at much greater expense from more questionable materials). And you all know how monstrously expensive the later, remaining stock Lost Battalions Tunics were/are to now obtain new.

Also included are a pair of absolute top quality reproduction shoulder boards hand-reproduced by GD43 per special order. They bear white infantry piping and gorgeous embroidery for the unit letters. They are 95% matches in detail to an original set I have (which I also have posted for sale on here right now). Get it while you can, and be the snappiest dressed landser in your Unit!
