German Ww2 M38 Paratrooper 6 Fallschirmjager Regiment Helmet Hand Aged Camo Fjr6

For your consideration is a beautiful WWII German M38 Paratrooper helmet painted in the 6. The FJR6 was a unit widely known for fighting in Normandy, with helmets featuring a camo blend of tans and greens, with added wood chips or sawdust. This example is a nice reproduction M38 with textbook FJR6 camo: a base layer of field grey lacquer covered with base tan and heavy wood-chip texture brushed on, as would have been done at the front, with green accents over top. See last two photos for original helmet examples of this scheme.
Original paint patterns and shades varied some, so we tried to best replicate the most common appearance associated with the period. The paint is also been aged, along with some aging done to the interior leather liner and straps. Note, in our opinion this fits more like a size 58, although stamped a 59. This helmet was painted and aged to look totally realistic and would be a great addition to a paratrooper reenactor kit or used for display.
