German Helmet Ww2 Q66 Original Shell
Here is a nice German helmet in a large size. Original shell in great condition with no dents or repairs. It is marked Q 66, and is a really nice shell. Repro liner and what looks like post war paint and decals. The paint and decals are pretty old, but the liner Is a new Eastern European reproduction. I think the paint inside the shell may be original. It has old reproduction police decals that have been over painted. I think it was originally made to deceive people. But the paint looks real nice. In fact when I bought this with bad pictures, I thought the paint and decals might be real.
However upon in hand inspection it became apparent they are not. Very very nice restored helmet, Great for reenactment or to fill that spot in your collection until you can find in over painted police helmet.
