German Fallschirmjager Helmet Zimmerit Coating
German Fallschirmjager Helmet with Zimmrit coating, hand aged shell and liner. Great repro for your collection, or for reenacting. This will fit a big head 59 cm, probably closer to 60 cm. The helmet is based on on a high quality heavy old manufacture accurate shell, not Chinese junk. A museum quality late war complete Luftwaffe Eagle applied (request additional more "accurate" pics if you want) for illustration. The helmet is aged and coated with "Zimmerit" which was done by German paratroopers to improve non-reflection and camouflage. The camouflage is green and brown (based on colors available from the RLM). Pictures of a real helmet from a collector site (last two) added for comparison.
