G33/40 MAUSER-SLING BAND ASSY, NEW ITEM-JAN 2015
2 total pcs, band and screw. The pics show 4 bands, 2 new and 2 orignals-!!! New made complete-in the u. Copied in detail from originals. Yes were are "certifiable" to even try to make these, but we did it!! Ring made from 1 solid pc of medium carbon steel just like the originals, "no" welded on- altered band from another rifle-we did it just as it was done orignally!!! This assy was only made for the g33/40, no other!! Yep another great german engineers idea of fun. So these will not be passed of as originals we stamped "kt" very small letters on the underside of the sling loop area-only will be able to see this with tnhe rifle upside down, and be very close!
Also on the ear that has the threads for the screw, we did not bring the corner crisp to the outside radius on that side-left a small tool radius for better stregth and another detail to spot these as "non" original made parts. Luckily we have 3 rifles in our collection to copy the part correctly, and more importantly make sure they fit correctly also. We saw a possible need in our little circle of collectors to make these, and can only hope you all appreciate the time and effort that went into these- not and easy part to make correctly. Made from medium carbon steel, and hot process black oxided for correct and durable finish.
Replace that worn out, missing, or incorrect cleaning sling band on your rifle. Or put away that near priceless orignal!Do have a small batch of extra screws for these-if you need just the screw conact me! These rifles parts are near impossible to find, or a fortune- these look the part in every way-just new!
