Field Marshal von Manstein Uniform German Officer WWII Tunic and Overseas Cap
This is a super nice reproduction of erich von manstein's uniform from circa 1943/1944. I did a lot of research on the uniforms von manstein wore and this one is pretty typical to what he wore. The tunic itself is nice quality officer/general style. Has gold finished pebbled buttons.
All insignia is high quality reproductions. Shoulder boards and collar tabs are very nice quality gold bullion field marshal versions.Medals are attached with hand sewn loops. Awards and medals: iron cross 1914 with 1939 clasp, wwi wound badge cut-out, german/prussian order of hohenzollern crown and crossed swords on iron cross wwi ribbon, on neck knights cross of iron cross and order of michael the brave (romania), and on sleeve krim (crimea) shield 1941-1942.
Krim battle shield has been polished up to a golden finish and attached to black wool (panzer style) backing as it appears in a few photos. Hat is overseas style with insignia which he wore regularly. I have hand sewn gold finished piping on cap as i could not find a gold bullion piped general version anywhere.Hat is size 59 and good quality although pipping is not as accurate. I give to you at cost to complete set. Included: tunic size small/medium with all insignia and medals and overseas cap.
