1940s WW2 German Luftwaffe Motorcycle black Leather jacket sz 42 L
The jacket has a size tag of " 52" which is a German size equivalent to a USA mens size 42 Large though this jacket would also fit a size 40 Medium man.. The jacket has a chest width of 21.5 inches or 43 inches in circumference,,, which means if you are a size 42 Large USA mens size this jacket will fit snugly on you,,, or tightly,,, it is not meant to have extra space or extra room on the insides,,, and as such I would say you will ONLY be able to wear a t shirt or some other very thin shirt while wearing this,, you cant wear winter clothing or a thick sweater...
The jacket is lined with padding and should be warm in cold months as well,, and let me also say this jacket does have a padded liner which means it will be warm to wear in summer,, if you want to wear a motorcycle jacket in summer with high heat temperatures you would need a motorcycle jacket with very thin lining and no padding in the liner... The jacket has a full front zipper,,, full front buttons (with the lower button being broken),, it has 4 outside pockets,,1 inside wallet pocket,,2 waist adjustment strap and rings to loosen or tighten the jacket at the waist,,, zipper cuffs and a neck strap and loop closure as well as the inside liner is fully lined for cold weather.... The liner is made in 65% polyester and 35% cotton twill.. The age of the coat is written on a tag inside the inner wallet pocket and was made in 2003...
Please take note,,, the jacket was made to fit tightly for motorcycle use,, and the stomach measurement is also important,, if your stomach is larger then 36 inches,, then it wont be possible to zip or button the coat closed,,, so please go by all measurements to ensure a proper fit..
