WWII German M36 Reproduction Reenactor Uniform Field Gear Equipment Large Lot
This collection was assembled for WWII reenacting and display. Much of the remaining reproduction equipment was acquired from established reenacting suppliers including At The Front and/or 1944 Militaria.
Some individual utility/accessory pieces may be postwar manufacture; please refer to the detailed photographs showing markings and construction. The tunic fits approximately like a modern US men's 46 Regular / XL. For reference, I normally wear a 46R jacket and XL shirt, and the tunic fits comfortably and very similar to the tailor fitted cut you see in vintage photographs of the era. The trousers measure approximately 36-38" at the waist with approximately a 34" inseam. These are approximate fit/measurements only. Reproduction military uniforms can fit differently from modern clothing, so please review the photographs and contact me if you would like specific garment measurements before purchasing. Because of the above sizes and my mannequin being a tad smaller than myself that is why you are seeing a baggy fitment on the display mannequin. Reproduction/period-style playing cards (these might actually be original late/post war pieces). Towels and additional personal/field items shown in the photographs. PLEASE NOTE: The mannequin is NOT INCLUDED and is shown only to demonstrate the fit and overall appearance of the uniform. All one would need for a complete WW II German reenacting kit is a helmet, soft cap/envelope cap, Y-straps, ammunition/cartridge pouches, shovel and shovel carrier (and of course your K98 Mauser Rifle).
The collection is pre-owned and was used for reenacting, display and storage. Individual pieces show varying degrees of normal wear, age, use, discoloration and storage wear. The M36-style uniform has a very convincing early-war appearance when assembled, with the characteristic field-gray wool construction, contrasting dark-green collar and pleated front pockets. The additional camouflage and field equipment make this a substantial starting point for someone building a WWII German Army reenacting/display impression or for a collector of reproduction militaria. Because this is a large multi-piece collection, I have photographed individual pieces, markings, construction details and the core uniform displayed on a mannequin so buyers can evaluate the condition and contents.
