Original WW1 WWI German Iron Cross 2nd class W/ Pour Le Merite Blue Max Medal and eagle clasp. I've had this one in the collection for almost 30 years. The Veterans wore these after the War in order to be modest and not wear their large medals in public. This one is especially nice, as it has the crowned eagle clasp at the top and the Blue Max medal, which makes me think he was a pilot. I wish I had the name attached to this, but I don't.

Very nice piece for any serious WWI collection. Medal has wear and oxidation, a little bit of enamel loss to the blue max pin and green verdigris to the edges, as you would expect over all these years.
