Originally manufactured in Japan in the late 60's and early 70's these early models look, feel, disassemble, and simulate the function of a real mp40. Considered by many the best model MP40's ever made. The bolt locks to the rear as a real open bolt mp40 does, the bolt handle will lock into the rear safety catch, and when the trigger is pulled, the bolt will drop. Magazine locks tight, and matches the patina of the piece well.

This model is missing the screws that hold the fore grip panels in place. The stock when folded does hold them in. Original or reproduction screws will fit.

Also missing is the muzzle nut. Note; this cannot nor can it be made to fire live ammunition. The item "Mgc 68 Prop MP40 German WWII" is in sale since Tuesday, April 16, 2019. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Militaria\WW II (1939-45)\Reproductions\Germany".
