German WW2 Mountain Boots reproduction
A number of years ago we were forming a German Gebirg(mountain) unit. I even obtained a used set of boots with the mountain and ice hobnails from the Swiss or Swedish, I can't quite recall which. I never did attach the mountain gear to the bottom of the boots but still have the other boots. I dismantled one of the other boots for the gear and kept one intact so that I would know how to attach the hobnails correctly.
I have one of the original pair totally intact to take off the hobnails and one has a couple of the hobnails for the side missing. So this is a project.
The nice thing is that these new boots shown above were never used at all, but it is a project. I will include the old boots with the new. These are heavy duty boots. These are a size 12 US.
